How I came
to teach this way
Fifteen years of practice · teaching since 2018
My story
Yoga is the thing I have kept coming back to for fifteen years.
I started teaching in 2018, at Joga Placc in Budapest, then a gym in Gibraltar, then parks and community spaces in Spain, and on Zoom throughout. I am Hungarian, I teach in English and in Hungarian, and I move between a boat in Fuerteventura and Brighton and Hove.
Before teaching I worked in mental health care, and much of my life has been spent supporting other people. That is not a decorative detail. It is why I ask about your injuries before your goals, and why I will tell you to stop.

What I teach
Four kinds of class
Vinyasa Krama flow
A step-by-step progression that blends breath and movement, guided by Iyengar-influenced alignment principles. Props are used regularly, to build muscle memory that holds up over years. Each sequence builds towards a peak pose or a theme.
Do-In
Gentle self-shiatsu and energy-based movement inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine. Certified at the Budapest Shiatsu College in 2019.
Yogalates
A fusion of dynamic yoga and Pilates core work. Certified in 2020.
Pranayama and meditative movement
Breathing practices for nervous system regulation. Some people come only for this.
What a class is like
Sixty to ninety minutes. We start sitting, then standing work, then floor work, then ten minutes lying down at the end. I talk the whole way through, I give the English name of a pose before the Sanskrit, and I offer a modification for every stage rather than one at the end.
You need a mat and a wall. Blocks help and a folded towel will do instead. If something hurts, you stop and tell me, and we find another way in.
So that nothing about the first hour is a surprise
Training
The first hour
A conversation rather than a class
I ask about your goal, your focus, any injuries and what you have done before, and you ask me whatever you want. No charge and no card.
